It has also not been revealed whether Atari will produce new titles for the VCS or whether the classics will be made available by the network. The VCS has a retro design, with a look inspired by wood-finished devices, however, there are modern details, such as a joystick more similar to those currently seen on the market. The device also comes with a classic control, with central lever and single button. Previously, Atari VCS came to be referred to as Ataribox, but there were no design or release details.

There will be two controllers initially available for the Atari VCS: a Classic Joystick modelled on the original Atari CX40, and a Modern Controller, that looks similar to the Xbox controller. The Modern Controller, as you can expect, offers more functions and is suited to current game releases.
